Three Dog Night was an American rock and roll band active from 1968 to 1975. Their first gold record was "One" in 1969, followed by "Easy To Be Hard" from the musical Hair. They had three number one songs: "Mama Told Me Not to Come," "Joy to the World", and "Black and White". The band included three lead vocalists — Danny Hutton, Chuck Negron, and Cory Wells — and Michael Allsup on guitar, Floyd Sneed on drums, Joe Schermie (from the Cory Wells Blues Band) on bass, and Jimmy Greenspoon on keyboards. The band was the protegé of Beach Boys producer, composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist Brian Wilson, and at the time went under the name Redwood.

I've Got Enough Heartache Lyrics

Three Dog Night

(KellieWright)
Flying high out on a limb we'll be.
We've got more than we could ever see.
But to keep it is harder than anything else.
I love ya, let me tell ya
We can't go on.
That's why I say, yeah, I've got enough heartache.
Tell me what you see when you look at me.
Yeah We've got a good thing, let's not loose it.
Is it right, is it wrong when you say you won't be long
I've got enough, I've got enough heartache. Ooh, ooh.
Flying high out on a limb we'll be.
We've got more than we could ever see.
Lonely, I cross on the other side of the street.
I'm mixed up, not messed up.
Strong, it seems I'm weak.
And that's why I've got enough heartache.
Tell me what you see when you look at me. Yeah
We've got a good thing, let's not loose it.
Whoa, oh
Yeah, I've got enough, I've got enough heartache. Ooh, ooh.
Sittin' here, wanting you by my side.
Should I runaway? No, I don't care to hide.
Oh
And that's why I've got enough I've got enough heartache.
Tell me what you see when you look at me. Yeah
We've got a good thing, let's not loose it.
Am I right, am I wrong when you say you won't be long Yeah
I've got enough, I've got enough heartache. Oh, oh.
Yeah, we've got a good thing let's not loose it
Oh, oh
Yeah, I've got enough heartache
Whoa, Yeah
Yeah, we've got a good thing let's not loose it.
