Three Dog Night was an American rock and roll band active from 1968 to 1975. Their first gold record was "One" in 1969, followed by "Easy To Be Hard" from the musical Hair. They had three number one songs: "Mama Told Me Not to Come," "Joy to the World", and "Black and White". The band included three lead vocalists — Danny Hutton, Chuck Negron, and Cory Wells — and Michael Allsup on guitar, Floyd Sneed on drums, Joe Schermie (from the Cory Wells Blues Band) on bass, and Jimmy Greenspoon on keyboards. The band was the protegé of Beach Boys producer, composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist Brian Wilson, and at the time went under the name Redwood.

Storybook Feeling Lyrics

Three Dog Night

(M.Allsup)
A storybook feeling about you
Foretells the happiness that could be
So dry those brown eyes that I'm kissing
And maybe you'll think you love me
You've always known I was your best friend
Sometimes I've needed your comfort, too
So don't worry about tomorrow
Cause baby I'll be loving you
I've got time to share no matter what the season
I'll be there you'll be my every reason
Someday I'll be your man.
Funny girl, my heart is not for teasing
In this world, that God made so deceiving
Someday you'll look around and maybe you'll be loving me
I've got time to share no matter what the season
I'll be there you'll be my every reason
Someday you'll see that I've been loving you
Maybe you'll love me
Maybe you'll think you love me
Look around, look around, look around
I'm in love, look around, look around, look around,
Look around, look around, look around
